The pics here are of Jim Greer and Lola, the vocalist/second guitar in DTCV. The bassist and drummer playing with them were both local musicians from Columbus, I believe.

Jim broke his D string three songs into their set, and he just never stopped, or replaced it, or switched guitars or anything. He said, "I broke a string, but it doesn't matter...I don't really use that one anyway." Hahaha...he played the rest of their whole set, solos and all, on five strings. (The first pic of him is from before it broke, the others were after it- you can see the broken string still hanging there, on the instrument).

In the last shot, Jim is killing all the strings with a drumstick (and also with a screwdriver, right after I took the photo).
